HISTORY…
Land owner Charles Parry rebuilt Templars Barn in 1998. The barn was originally used for threshing corn where the process of loosen the edible part of the grain from the stalks would happen. The entire barn is 7 bays long with wooden pegs in each of the bays, typical to the structure of thrashing barns. On the roof you will see a shade of pink because it reminded Mr. Perry of the family holidays in the south of France.
To the west of the barn, Mr. Parry planted 180 trees in the meadow. This was because he wanted to replace the wood that was used in the restorative process. The property also comes with ample parking and a paddock for outdoor drinks and activities.
Templars is still a working farm today so perfect for a rustic yet elegant special occasion!

Templars barn was an amazing Wedding venue. It held the amount of people we wanted, we decorated it how we liked and it looked rustic and just the look we wanted, being from the country. Kitty was great and helped point us in the right direction with organising different things. We had a live band and disco and knowing it wasn't going to disturb anyone was a bonus too. Having a few children at the wedding meant it was quite relaxed and they could go outside if they got bored, so that worked really well for us at the barn. There are so many options when you hire the barn, it also makes great wedding photos!! We had the most amazing Wedding day and who knows, we might go back to celebrate a Wedding Anniversary? Templars barn was the perfect setting for our special day! Lots of guests commented on how amazing the barn looks - it really gives off a rustic and authentic feel! There are also lots of outside spaces that make the perfect backdrop for photos. We are so so glad we choose this venue for our wedding! Shannah & Michael
